Dr Fletcher gives generous appointment slots, to allow for a thorough skin assessment and treatment discussion. Dr Fletcher likes to work in partnership with her patients to agree the best management plan.
Dr Fletcher is experienced in general adult and paediatric dermatology including the assessment and treatment of: acne (includes Isotretinoin), eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, hair loss, warts and vitiligo.
She has a particular interest in the following areas:
- Mole checks and early melanoma detection
- Skin cancer screening
- Skin cancer follow up
- Teenage acne
- Ultraviolet light therapy for the treatment of skin diseases
- Skin and nail infections
Dr Fletcher is an approved Specialist for all the major medical Insurance Companies including: BUPA, AXA PPP, Aviva, WPA, Vitality Health, Cigna, Healix, Simply Health and Exeter Friendly. Dr Fletcher’s charges are in line with the Insurers’ Schedule of Fees.
Dr Fletcher is happy to see both insured and self-funding patients. A GP referral letter is preferred but is not essential, unless specified by the individual’s insurance company.
As in Dr Fletcher’s previous NHS practice, she works closely with her Plastic Surgery colleagues. New skin cancer diagnoses are discussed whenever possible in the weekly skin cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meeting at Kingston Hospital, in line with NICE Guidance. Skin cancer follow up checks are carried out according to National recommendations.
